I am a writer, producer, and freelance creative consultant living in Los Angeles. After earning a BA in English Literature at the University of Washington, I acquired an MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University upon my completion of studies in dramatic structure and creative development.
In addition to my work as Senior Producer at Column Five, a visual agency, I am a regular contributor to popular culture studies. I also volunteer my time and talents to many non-profit organizations including The Trevor Project, Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, and Impulse Group, for whom I wrote the short film, “Open” as part of a narrative-driven series on the importance of knowing one’s HIV status.
I’m currently working on the next few films in the Impulse Group series, writing a supernatural pilot, and spearheading a new HIV awareness campaign and interview series entitled, My Status Is Not A Secret
